Brief & concept

At Gerbou, lighting welcomes guests into a contemporary expression of Emirati hospitality. Warm ambient layers soften the transition from Dubai daylight to intimate evening dining, while carefully placed accents reveal ghaf wood, crafted surfaces and locally inspired details. Rather than competing with the architecture, light gives the restored building a sense of depth, drawing guests toward the table and allowing its textures, art and cultural narrative to take centre stage.
